It Was Hunter's Idea
A kid. A car ride. A big idea.
The family was in the car. Lori — Hunter's mom — mentioned she wanted to visit all 50 states before she turns 50. And without missing a beat, 6-year-old Hunter looked up from the back seat and said:
"I want to golf in all 50 states."
That was the moment. No planning. No strategy. Just a kid with a big idea and a dad who finally had the time to say yes.
Nick's Story
The dad who said yes.
I'm Nick. For over a 20 years I built a career in corporate America — C-suite titles, big budgets, bigger responsibilities. I was good at my job.
But somewhere along the way I started missing things. Mornings. Weekends. The small moments that don't show up on a performance review but matter more than anything else.
So I made a decision. I was going to "do my own thing". And prioritize family- I've realized that time is the one thing none of us can get back and I needed to spend mine with those that matter most. Hunter's goal was the perfect chance to just that- So I decided to make it our goal to share together. We started on the journey together in 2024 and we have never looked back. Now with my new found freedom and focus it's time to put our foot on the accelerator- Quite literally...It's time for a road trip!!
Another Good Loop is my answer to the question I should have asked sooner: What actually matters? And....How do I find the way to prioritize what actually matters?
